On 17 September, during the Toyota Riga Cycling Marathon, from 12:45 to approximately 17:00, there will be changes on bus routes No. 10, 12, 23, 26, 13, 37, 41 and 53 as well as on trolleybus routes No. 5, 25, 9, 4, 19 and 27.

Bus routes

Bus route No. 10 will run from Abrenes iela along the route to Akmens tilts, then along Akmens tilts, Uzvaras bulvāris, Valguma iela, Akmeņu iela, Mūkusalas iela and further along the route.

From Jaunmārupe the route will run until Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve, then along Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve until the turning point in the opposite direction without going to Mūkusala rotation circle, then along Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve until the entrance to Bauskas iela, along Bauskas iela, Jelgavas iela, Akmeņu iela, Valguma iela, Uzvaras bulvāris, Akmens tilts and further along the route.                                                                                            

The first bus on the changed route will depart from Abrenes iela at 13:15 and from Jaunmārupe at 12:06.

Bus route No. 12 will run from Abrenes iela to Satekles iela, then along Satekles iela, 13. janvāra iela, 11. novembra krastmala, Akmens tilts, Uzvaras bulvāris, Valguma iela, Akmeņu iela, Jelgavas iela, Bauskas iela, Ziepniekkalna iela, Jāņa Čakstes gatve, Bauskas iela and further along the route.

The first bus on the changed route will depart from Abrenes iela at 13:12, and from Kooperatīvs “Ziedonis” will run without changes.

Bus route No. 23 will run from Abrenes iela to Akmens tilts, then along Akmens tilts, Uzvaras bulvāris, Valguma iela, Akmeņu iela, Jelgavas iela, then further along the route till Ziepniekkalna iela, then along Ziepniekkalna iela, Jāņa Čakstes gatve, Bauskas iela and further along the route.

From Baloži it will follow the route until A7 road, then along A7, Ziepniekkalna iela, Bauskas iela, then further along the route till Jelgavas iela, then along Jelgavas iela, Akmeņu iela, Valguma iela, Uzvaras bulvāris, Akmens tilts and further along the route.

The first bus on the changed route will depart from Abrenes iela at 12:31 and from Baloži at 12:28.

Bus route No. 26 will run from Abrenes iela along the route to Akmens tilts, then along Akmens tilts, Uzvaras bulvāris, Valguma iela, Akmeņu iela, Mūkusalas iela and further along the route.

From Katlakalns the route will run until Jelgavas iela, then along Jelgavas iela, Akmeņu iela, Valguma iela, Uzvaras bulvāris, Akmens tilts and further along the route.

The first bus on the changed route will depart from Abrenes iela at 12:50 and from Katlakalns at 13:37.

Bus route No. 13, 37, 41, 53 will run from Pārdaugava to the centre along Vanšu tilts without entering Ķīpsala. The “Ķīpsala” stop has been moved to the main road.

Trolleybus routes

Trolleybus route No. 5 from Paula Stradiņa slimnīca to Daugavas stadions will run along Vanšu tilts without entering Ķīpsala.

The first trolleybus on the changed route will depart from Paula Stradiņa slimnīca at 13.06.

Trolleybus route No. 25 from Iļģuciems will run along Vanšu tilts without entering Ķīpsala.

The first trolleybus on the changed route will depart from Ilģuciems at 12:36. On these routes, the stop “Ķīpsala” towards the centre has been moved to the main road.

Trolleybuses run unchanged towards Pārdaugava.

Trolleybus route No. 9 from Stacijas laukums will run to Uzvaras bulvāris, then continue on Uzvaras bulvāris, Slokas iela, Kalnciema iela, Baložu iela and continue along the route.  

During the cycling marathon, the stop “Kalnciema iela” and “Ķīpsala” towards Iļģuciems will be closed. The first trolleybus on the changed route will depart from Stacijas laukums at 12:53.

Trolleybus route No. 4 from Jugla to Ziepniekkalns and from Ziepniekkalns to Jugla will run along Salu tilts without entering the Mūkusala rotation circle. The stop “Mūkusalas rotācijas aplis” will closed in both directions.

The first trolleybus on the changed route will depart from Jugla at 12:10 and from Ziepniekkalns  at 12:35.

Trolleybus route No. 19 from Pētersalas iela to Ziepniekkalns and from Ziepniekkalns to Pētersalas iela will run along Salu tilts without entering the Mūkusala rotation circle. The stop “Mūkusalas rotācijas aplis” will closed in both directions.

The first trolleybus on the changed route will depart from Pētersalas iela at 12:27 and from Ziepniekkalns at 12:48.

Trolleybus route No. 27 from Ziepniekkalns will run until Jelgavas iela, then along Jelgavas iela, Akmeņu iela, Valguma iela, Uzvaras bulvāris, Akmens tilts.

From Stacijas laukums, it will run along Akmens tilts, Uzvaras bulvāris, Valguma iela, Akmeņu iela, Mūkusalas iela and further along the route.
